Hector MacQueen had some intriguing evidence to share with the detectives. Just a couple hours before Ratchett was killed, Hector and Colenel Arbuthnot decided to get off the train and stretch while it stopped. The door was bolted while they left, but unbolted when they returned. About a half hour later after returning, Hector was arguing with Colonel Arbuthnot. During the argument Mr. MacQueen states he saw a lady out of the corner of his eye passing the unbolted door. In response to this observation, Hector claimed he never saw the lady return after passing by.
